Abstract: Purpose In a previous study we have shown in a mouse model that administration of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) inhibitor thalidomide has promising therapeutic effects on early radiation cystitis (ERC) and late radiation sequelae (LRS) of the urinary bladder.
