“…Significant difference between intervention group and control group was also observed in the group of duration > 3 months and ≤ 6 months [9,10,20,25,26,28,29,37], with a pooled WMD of -0.47% (95% CI [-0.63, -0.30], P < .001). However, the heterogeneity increased to 45.9%.…”

“…Forms of new media that did not fall in the above three categories were classified as others. In the group of website only interventions [7,9,10,12,21,29,34], there was statistically significant difference in HbA1c outcomes between intervention group and control group and WMD was -0.51% (95% CI [-0.68, -0.34], P < .001). However, moderate heterogeneity of 59.8% was also observed across studies in this subgroup.…”
