Effect of Initial Wettability on Rock Mechanics and Oil Recovery: Comparative Study on Outcrop Chalks

Abstract: Brines containing surface-active divalent ions such as Ca 2+ , Mg 2+ and SO 4 2− impact the stiffness, strength and time-dependent deformation of water wet Mons outcrop chalk.
