Abstract:Introduction: Early initiation of breastfeeding is beneficial for both mother and baby and determines the success of breastfeeding. The benefits of IMD include reducing the risk of maternal and infant mortality, increasing the success of exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, and increasing bonding attachment between mother and baby.
