Abstract: HighlightsStudy examined effect of hypnotic suggestion on attention and craving for cigarettes.Effect of hypnotic suggestion on craving was moderated by level of hypnotic susceptibility.Hypnotic suggestion reduced craving in individuals with higher hypnotic susceptibility.
