Effect of Hydrazine, Isonicotinic Acid Hydrazide, Hydrazine Sulfate, and Dimethylhydrazine on Guanylate Cyclase Activity

Abstract: The chemical carcinogen hydrazine is a potent stimulator of guanylate cyclase. In the present investigation we found that three chemical carcinogens structurally related to hydrazine, isonicotinic acid hydrazide, hydrazine sulfate, and dimethylhydrazine, decreased guanylate cyclase activity.
