Effect of Hot Isostatic Pressing and Heat Treatment on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Pm Ti‐22Al‐24Nb‐0.5Mo (At.%) Alloy

Abstract: Ti-22Al-24Nb-0.5Mo (at.%) pre-alloyed powder was prepared by the electrode induction melting gas atomization (EIGA) process. Powder metallurgical (PM) alloy was prepared by hot isostatic pressing (HIP'ing). HIP'ing with different parameters and different post heat treatments were conducted to study their effects on microstructure and mechanical properties of the PM alloy.
