Enhanced selectivity can be achieved for some herbicide treatments through the application of chemicals that reduce or protect plants from injuries. The objective of this work was to evaluate the potential to prevent herbicide yield losses in glyphosate-resistant soybean by the use of the biostimulant Fertiactyl PÓS. Based on results from two field experiments, the association of Fertiactyl PÓS with glyphosate applied post emergence of soybeans reduced foliar injuries and prevented yield losses caused by the herbicide, either when glyphosate was applied in one single application or when it was applied in two sequential applications. However, the application of the Fertiactyl PÓS was not enough to assuage the injuries caused by the mixtures of glyphosate+lactofen and glyphosate+chlorimuron-ethyl.

“…Para o número de nódu-los, o CV de 28,80% é classificado como médio, uma vez que essa variável é considerada de alta variação (Souza et al, 2008a); portanto, os CVs para os parâmetros de nodulação estão dentro de uma faixa aceitável, o que induz a considerar que o glyphosate interferiu efetivamente na nodulação da soja BRS 242 RR. Esses resultados estão de acordo com os de outros autores, os quais também observaram redução na nodulação pelo uso do glyphosate (King et al, 2001;Reddy & Zablotowicz, 2003;Oliveira et al, 2008;Zobiole et al, 2010b). No entanto, a isolinha parental apresentou menor biomassa de raiz e de nódulos em relação à soja RR sem aplicação do glyphosate, provavelmente pela característica do cultivar em apresentar menor sistema radicular, contribuindo para o menor suprimento de nutrientes para os nódulos, o que se reflete no menor acúmulo de massa.…”

RESUMO -O aumento da área cultivada de soja resistente ao glyphosate (RR) no Brasil é resultado do benefício dessa tecnologia no manejo de plantas daninhas. No entanto, a expansão da área de soja RR aumentou significativamente o uso de glyphosate e consequentemente, em alguns casos, têm sido observados sintomas de injúrias na soja RR conhecidos como yellow flashing ou amarelecimento das folhas superiores. Nesse sentido, dois experimentos, em diferentes anos, foram conduzidos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repetições. O primeiro teve o objetivo de avaliar a influência do glyphosate na soja RR nas variáveis fotossintéticas, nos parâmetros de nodulação e na biomassa seca da parte aérea e raiz, realizando-se a comparação entre os tratamentos BRS 242 RR sem glyphosate, BRS 242 RR + glyphosate e a isolinha parental não-RR cv. Embrapa 58, submetidas a uma dose de glyphosate de 1.200 g e.a. ha, aplicada no estádio V4. O segundo experimento foi conduzido visando reavaliar as variáveis fotossintéticas, de produção de biomassa e nodulação afetadas na soja RR pelo glyphosate no primeiro experimento. Entretanto, no segundo experimento foi avaliada a utilização de diversas modalidades de aplicação de aminoácidos (a.a.), sendo os diferentes tratamentos (sem a.a.; tratamento de semente com a.a; tratamento de semente com a.a. + aplicação foliar de a.a.; sem tratamento de sementes com a.a; e com aplicação foliar de a.a) combinados com diferentes doses de glyphosate (1.200 e 2.400 g e.a. ha ), objetivando uma provável recuperação das plantas de soja com sua utilização exógena. Em ambos os experimentos, as variáveis fotossintéticas, os parâmetros de nodulação e biomassa seca da parte aérea e raiz foram afetados pela aplicação do glyphosate, porém o segundo experimento evidenciou, de modo geral, que o uso de aminoácidos via tratamento de sementes associado com aplicação foliar pode ser uma estratégia para prevenir os efeitos indesejáveis desse herbicida na cultura da soja RR.Palavras-chave: fotossíntese, biomassa, nodulação, herbicida, Rhizobium.ABSTRACT -Cultivation of glyphosate-resistant (GR) soybeans has increased in Brazil as a result of the application of this technology in weed management systems developed for this crop. Influence of foliar fertilization with manganese on germination, vigor and storage time of RR soybean seeds

RESUMOThis study aimed to evaluate the influence of foliar fertilizer doses containing Mn of phenological stages of suggested application in RR soybeans, to recover management damages with glyphosate at postemergence application on seed vigor in post-harvest and post six months storage. The seeds originated from a field experiment conducted , which included two applications of glyphosate, concomitant with foliar fertilizer in growth stages V4 and V6, with 0.00, 113.50 and 227.00 mg ha -1 doses of Mn 2+ . Germination, GSI (Germination Speed Index), electrical conductivity tests and the first count of seeds were conducted. The application of Mn did not affect the physiological quality of RR soy in postharvest. However, in post-storage, higher doses of Mn had a negative effect on tests of abnormal seedlings, GSI and electrical conductivity. The applications of Mn, regardless of the developmental stage, did not interfere in the germination and first count tests, with and without storage. The electrical conductivity test showed a higher correlation with the seed germination test in the post-harvest treatment. Influência da fertilização foliar com manganês para a germinação, vigor e tempo de armazenamento de sementes de soja RREste trabalho propôs avaliar a influência de doses de fertilizante foliar com Mn e de estádios fenológicos de aplicação sugeridas, em soja RR, para se recuperar de injúrias do manejo com glyphosate em pós-emergência, sobre o potencial fisiológico das sementes em pós-colheita e pós-armazenamento de seis meses. As sementes foram originadas de um experimento realizado a campo, que contou com duas aplicações do herbicida, concomitantes com fertilizante foliar, nos estádios fenológicos V4 e V6, com doses de 0,00; 113,50 e 227,00 mg ha -1 de Mn 2+ . Foram conduzidos testes de germinação, de IVG (índice de velocidade de germinação), de condutividade elétrica e de primeira contagem em sementes. A aplicação de Mn não influenciou a qualidade fisiológica da soja RR em pós-colheita. Já, em pós-armazenamento, as doses mais elevadas de Mn tiveram efeito negativo nos testes de plântulas anormais, de IVG e de condutividade elétrica. As aplicações de Mn, independentemente do estádio fenológico, não interferiram nos resultados dos testes de germinação e de primeira contagem, com e sem armazenamento. O teste de condutividade elétrica apresentou maior correlação com o teste de germinação de sementes no tratamento pós-colheita.
