ÖZAmaç: Çalışmamızın amacı oruç tutan bireylerin ses performansını değerlendirmektir.Yöntemler: Çalışma Haziran 2015-Temmuz 2015 tarihleri arasında yapıldı. Çalışmaya ramazan ayı süresince düzenli oruç tutan 26 birey dahil edildi. Yirmialtı bireyden 14'ü erkek, 12'si kadındı ve yaş ortalaması 36±10,15 olarak hesaplandı. Bireylerin ses performansı ramazan ayı öncesinde ve ramazan ayında (15. günden sonra) olmak üzere toplam iki kez objektif ve subjektif olarak değerlendirildi. Objektif değerlendirme için akustik ses analizi (F0, jitter %, shimmer %) yapılırken, subjektif değerlendirme amacıyla VHİ-30 anketi kullanıldı. Hastaların ramazan ayı öncesi ve ramazan ayında bakılan F0, jitter %, shimmer % ve VHİ-30 parametreleri birbirleri ile istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular:Ramazan ayı öncesinde yapılan değerlendirmede F0 ortalama değeri 201,07±54,17 Hz, jitter % ortalama değeri 0,37±0,19 iken, ramazan ayında yapılan değerlendirmede F0 ortalama değeri 179,07±50,09 Hz, jitter % ortalama değeri 0,63±0,22 olarak hesaplanmıştır ve her iki parametredeki değişimler istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır (p<0,001, p<0,001). Shimmer % ve VHİ-30 parametreleri ramazan ayında, öncesine göre yükselmiştir ancak değişimler istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir.Sonuç: Oruç tutmak, ses performansını objektif değerlendirmeler sonucunda olumsuz olarak etkilemiştir ancak subjektif değerlendirme sonucunda anlamlı değişiklik saptanmamıştır. The objective and subjective analyses of voice were performed twice before Ramadan and during the month of Ramadan (after 15 days). Acoustic voice analysis (F0, jitter %, and shimmer %) was performed for the objective analysis, and Voice Handicap Index (VHI)-30 questionnaire was used for the subjective analysis. Subjects were compared for F0, jitter %, shimmer %, and VHI-30 scores before and during Ramadan.Results: Before Ramadan, mean F0 was 201.07±54.17 Hz and mean jitter % was 0.37±0.19, whereas during Ramadan, mean F0 was 179.07±50.09 Hz and mean jitter % was 0.63±0.22, and both parameters showed a statistically significant difference (p<0.001 and p<0.001, respectively). Shimmer % and VHI-30 scores were lower before Ramadan than those during Ramadan, but the differences were not statistically significant. Conlusion:Fasting adversely affected the objective voice parameters; however, no significant changes were observed in the subjective voice parameters.
