Abstract:Etifoxine is an anxiolytic drug with a dual mechanism of action. In contrast to conventional benzodiazepine anxiolytics, which induce cognitive dysfunction and myorelaxation, no memory impairment nor a decrease in motor activity is observed with etifoxine.
