Effect of environmental factors on the fatty acid profiles and physicochemical composition of oysters ( Crassostrea gasar ) in Amazon estuarine farming

Abstract: tributing to over 47% of total aquatic food production, representing about 80 million tons, with 21.41% fish, 9.82% mollusks and 1.19% crustaceans and other aquatic animals (FAO, 2018). Among mollusks, oysters account for 28% of production, and the main cultivated oyster species is Crassostrea gigas (Amaro et al., 2019;FAO, 2018).

“…Murwaningsari (2008), Noor and Othman (2012), Saraswati and Aisyah (2015), Gunawan and Santioso (2015), Hariyanti et al (2015), Boujelbene and Affes (2015), Ernis et al (2017), and Oyewo and Adyeye (2018) have proved that budget participation can enhance managerial performance. Further studies by Lameira Silva et al (2020) show budgetary participation directly and positively influences managerial attitudes toward budgeting, job satisfaction, and controllers' performance in budget activities. Based on the theory and previous studies, a hypothesis is derived: H1: Budget participation has a positive effect on managerial performance.…”

“…Crassostrea gasar has specific characteristics that make it attractive for culture, such as resistance to varied temperatures and salinity (Horodesky et al, 2019), easy implementation (Sampaio et al, 2019), high market value and acceptance (Lameira-Silva et al, 2020). Studies on C. gasar oyster culture in estuarine waters have been developed to evaluate different stocking densities (Pereira et al, 2001), growth performance in different environments (Lopes et al, 2013;Legat et al, 2017;Oliveira et al, 2018) and yield of hatchery-produced seeds (Tureck et al, 2014).…”

“…They stand out in producing organisms with predominantly aquatic habitat. Thus, we can highlight fish farming , shrimp farming (Maciel & Valenti, 2014), cheloniculture (Magnusson et al, 2003), raniculture (Stéfani et al, 2015), malacoculture (Lameira-Silva et al, 2020), among other aquaculture activities. These are important both from a social and economic point of view (Santiago & Surís-Regueiro, 2018), and are responsible for the continuous growth in the supply of fish to the world population (FAO, 2018).…”
