Abstract:In this research, the effect of the volume percentage of diamond additive on the sintering behavior, microstructure, and mechanical properties of WC–Co was investigated. WC–Co/diamond composites with different percentages of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10% by volume of diamond were made by spark plasma sintering at 1300°C and 40 MPa for 5 min.
