Abstract: Dapagliflozin (DAPA) demonstrates promise in the management of diabetic mellitus (DM) and cardiomyopathy. Trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO) is synthesized by the gut microbiota through the metabolic conversion of choline and phosphatidylcholine.
