Effect of controlled ventilation during assist-control ventilation on diaphragm thickness : a post hoc analysis of an observational study

Abstract: Background : Since diaphragm passivity induces oxidative stress that leads to rapid atrophy of diaphragm, we investigated the effect of controlled ventilation on diaphragm thickness during assist-control ventilation (ACV).
