Abstract:Annihilation processes, where the reacting particles are influenced by some external advective field, are one of the simplest examples of nonlinear statistical systems. This type of processes can be observed in miscellaneous chemical, biological or physical systems. In low space dimensions usual description by means of kinetic rate equation is not sufficient and the effect of density fluctuations must be taken into account. Using perturbative renormalization group we study the influence of random velocity fiel… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
