Abstract: In order to expand the research on a combination of functional microcapsules and water-based coatings, antibacterial microcapsules using 3.0% sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate as an emulsifier, self-repairing microcapsules, and photochromic microcapsules were added to water-based coatings separately or in combination and coated on medium-density fiberboard to analyze the various properties of the coating.
