Effect of cold storage and 1-methylcyclopropene treatment on fruit storage potential of ‘Summer Prince’ and ‘Summer King’ apples

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cold storage and 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) treatment on fruit quality and storage potential of 'Summer Prince' and 'Summer King' apples. The fruits were treated with 1-MCP at a concentration of 1 μL/L for 18 h immediately after harvest, and stored for up to 6 months under cold storage (0℃).
