Abstract: IntroductionManaging chronic empyema thoracis (CET) due to tuberculosis (TB) in debilitated patients is complicated. Open window thoracostomy (OWT) is one of the ways to manage these high-risk patients. Closure of OWT is sometimes difficult to attain.
