Effect of CeO2 /Er2O3 co-doping on spectroscopic properties of zinc fluoroborate glasses

Abstract: The glass system 75B2O3 - 4.5ZnF2 – 0.5 Er2O3–(20-x) ZnO- x CeO2, x = (0 ≤ x ≤ 1 mol. %) in this article was produced using the melt-quenching technique. Utilizing FT-IR techniques, the structural specifics of manufactured glasses are studied. The N_4 and N_3 fractions will be used to explore the transformation in the glass system that has been obtained. The BO3 and BO4 units coexisted in the glass composition, based on FT-IR spectra.
