Abstract:AlN powders were synthesized by carbothermal reduction method using a combustion synthesis precursor derived from aluminum nitrate (oxidizer), glucose (carbon source), and urea (fuel) mixed solution. Effects of carbon source content on the combustion temperature of solutions, the particle size and morphology of the precursors and the synthesized AlN were studied in detail. The results indicated that a regular variation in the particle size and morphology of precursors had been observed with the increasing mola… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
