Effect of Carbon Dioxide on the Properties and Chemical Composition of Bentonite in Aqueous Suspension

Abstract: In the process of using drilling muds in the oil and gas reservoirs, bentonite clay accumulates, which precludes their development, if not swelling it with carbon dioxide.
