Effect of calcium pimelate on crystallization kinetics of polyphenylene sulfide

Abstract: The use of nucleating agents (NAs) to accelerate semicrystalline polymers crystallization is a widely recognized technique during processing. However, the commercially available NA for poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) has been rather limited.
