“…India has a long coastline of about 7500 km; there are several bays, gulf and inlet estuaries along the coastline, which create variation in currents, and tidal currents in some of these regions are strong enough to convert kinetic energy into electrical energy; a few potential locations are reportedly feasible for tidal energy extraction (Souvik et al, 2016).
