“…The increase in number of umbels per plant with the application of this treatment containing optimum dose of nitrogen and phosphorous along with biofertilizers might be due to the increase in supply of major plant nutrients that are required in larger quantities for fruit productivity, growth and development of plants. The accessibility of phosphorous is improved by PSB (Rhizobium), nitrogen fixed from atmosphere by Azotobacter that leads to balance supply of major nutrients and ultimately contributed into the increase in number of umbels per plant [42].…”
