Background. To investigate the efficacy of high-quality nursing service for the patients during the anesthesia recovery period. Methods. We used the National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Cochrane Library of Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang, and very important person (VIP) databases for conducting a systematic literature study. We employed the fixed-effects model for evaluating the standardized mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). The sensitivity and publication bias were estimated for determining the efficacy of high-quality nursing services during the recovery period of anesthesia. Results. In our study, the result showed that the efficiency of recovery time of spontaneous respiration was significantly improved in the experimental group ( SMD = − 1.48 , 95 % CI = − 1.62 , − 1.34 ). In this analysis, the extubation time of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group. In control group [ WMD = − 15.54 , 95% CI (-21.24, -9.83), P < 0.00001 ], the improvement of extubation time was more obvious on high-quality nursing. Moreover, the incidence of agitation in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the score of nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group ( P = 0.01 ). The funnel plots identified no publication bias during the identification of efficacy. Conclusions. The high-quality nursing care for patients during the resuscitation period can shorten the recovery time of their self-consciousness and self-breathing, reduce the occurrence rate of restlessness, improve patients’ anxiety and depression, reduce complications, and play a certain clinical application effect.

BackgroundThe aim of this study was to compare the effect of spinal anesthesia (SPA), paracervical block (PB), and general anesthesia (GA), on pain, the frequency of nausea and vomiting and analgesic requirements in diagnostic hysteroscopy.MethodsThis single-center, non-randomized, parallel-group, clinical trial was conducted on 66 diagnostic hysteroscopy candidates who were selected by convenience sampling at Fatemieh Hospital, in Hamadan, Iran, in 2021.ResultsThe mean pain score during recovery and the need for analgesic injections was found to be significantly higher in the GA group compared to that in the SPA group (pain: 3.77 ± 2.25 vs. 0.10 ± 0.30, P < 0.001), (analgesic: 50 vs. 0%, P < 0.001) and PB group (pain: 3.77 ± 2.25 vs. 0.90 ± 1.37, P < 0.001), (analgesic 50 vs. 10%, P < 0.001), respectively. However, no statistically significant difference was observed between the mean pain score between SPA and PB groups (0.10 ± 0.30 vs. 0.90 ± 1.3, P = 0.661). In addition, there were no significant differences between groups on nausea/vomiting after operation (P = 0.382). In adjusted regression analysis (adjusting for age, weight, gravid, abortion, and cause of hysteroscopy), the odds ratio (OR) of pain score during recovery was increased in PB (OR: 4.471, 95% CI: 1.527–6.156, P = 0.018) and GA (OR: 8.406, 95% CI: 2.421–9.195, P = 0.001) groups compared with the SPA group. However, in adjusting based on times of surgery duration, anesthesia duration, recovery and return of motor function, the ORs of pain score between groups was not statistically significant.ConclusionDespite reduced pain during recovery in patients receiving SPA, duration of anesthesia, recovery period, and return of motor function were significantly prolonged compared to those receiving PB or GA. It seems that PB with less recovery time and faster return of motor function than SPA and also mild pain during recovery compared to GA can be a good option for hysteroscopy.Clinical trial registrationhttp://www.irct.ir, identifier IRCT20120915010841N26.

Introdução: A histerectomia, remoção cirúrgica do útero, é um procedimento comum realizado em mulheres para tratar uma variedade de condições ginecológicas, como miomas uterinos, endometriose, sangramento uterino anormal e câncer ginecológico. Assim, ao longo dos anos, várias técnicas cirúrgicas foram desenvolvidas para realizar a histerectomia, incluindo a abordagem abdominal tradicional, a histerectomia vaginal, a histerectomia laparoscópica e a histerectomia robótica. Além disso, a escolha da anestesia também é um aspecto crucial no planejamento da histerectomia, com opções que incluem anestesia geral, anestesia regional (como a raquianestesia ou a epidural) e técnicas de anestesia local. Objetivo: Comparar os resultados clínicos, a segurança e a eficácia das diferentes técnicas cirúrgicas e abordagens anestésicas utilizadas na histerectomia. Metodologia: Foram utilizadas as bases de dados Cochrane, Scielo e Medline, buscando artigos publicados entre os anos de 2021 e 2024, nos idiomas Português ou Inglês. Considerações Finais: Em síntese, a seleção cuidadosa das técnicas cirúrgicas e anestésicas na histerectomia é fundamental para otimizar os resultados clínicos e a satisfação da paciente. Dessa forma, a histerectomia laparoscópica e a abordagem robótica surgem como alternativas viáveis e seguras à histerectomia abdominal, proporcionando menor morbidade pós-operatória e recuperação mais rápida. Quanto à anestesia, a abordagem deve ser personalizada, levando em consideração o perfil de segurança e eficácia de cada paciente.
