Effect of Ag-doping of Nanosized FeAlO System on its Structural, Surface and Catalytic Properties

Abstract: In this paper, we aimed to investigate the influence of extent of Fe 2 O 3 loading, Ag-doping and precalcination temperature of the Fe 2 O 3 / Al 2 O 3 system on its physicochemical, surface and catalytic properties. The techniques employed were TG/DTG, XRD, nitrogen adsorption at −196˚C and the catalytic decomposition of H 2 O 2 at 25-40˚C. Material and Methods Aluminum hydroxide sample was prepared by precipitating Al(NO 3) 3 •9H 2 O (1M) solution using 0.2M ammonia solution at 70˚C
