Effect of Activated Zinc Oxide on the Property of Sole Rubber

Abstract: The application of activated zinc oxide compared with ordinary zinc oxide in sole rubber was investigated. The experiment showed that activated zinc oxide could improve the microstructure and cross-linking degree of cross-linked rubber, the tensile strength at 100% elongation and at 300% elongation. The ageing resistance increased by 12%.
