“…Une explication de ce phénomène peut être trouvée dans le fait que TRIM dans sa phase actuelle ne tient aucun compte du passé thermique de l'individu : les sensations sont liées aux températures du même pas de temps. Or, le passé thermique du sujet jouerait un rôle important, comme l'indiquent certaines expériences (GLICKMAN et al, 1947;LIAO et CECH, 1976;GRIVEL et al1989) Par exemple, en termes de sensations, le pied est le plus chaud en conditions ambiantes chaudes, tandis qu'en termes de températures, il se place au milieu du classement. De même, la tête, qui a constament la température la plus élevée, est situé vers le "chaud" du classement en ambiance froide et vers le "froid" en ambiance chaude.…”
