Effect of a direct electric field on the photoluminescence processes and model of the luminogen centre in ZnS:Cu

Abstract: The spectral repartition of the emission processes of a luminogen centre is characteristic of its structure and interactions. By applying an electric field, these interactions are changed and consequently, induce some spectral deformations of the intensity and probability distributions of emission. These changes are specific to the type of centre and lead to a choice among the different possible models.
