Abstract:Prunus brasiliensis (pessegueiro-bravo) é a principal fonte alimentar de Brachyteles arachnoides durante o período de frutificação.Dois lotes de sementes de Prunus brasiliensis foram coletados, neste estudo, um diretamente do solo e outro triado das fezes de Brachyteles arachnoides. As sementes foram acondicionadas em caixas do tipo gerbox, entre vermiculita umedecida com água destilada, e mantidas em câmaras de germinação tipo B.O.D., às temperaturas constantes de 20, 25 e 30 ºC.
