Show more

“…Thus, reinforcement contingencies that supported high response rates appeared to produce behavior that was less resistant to change than contingencies that supported low response rates when reinforcer rates were controlled. Others have reported similar findings when comparing resistance to change of behavior maintained by reinforcement schedules that explicitly place contingencies on paced responding (Al o et al, 2015;Blackman, 1968;Cançado et al, 2018;Doughty et al, 2017;Neto et al, 2015), thus providing further support for this challenge to behavioral momentum theory. argued that schedules like DRL change the functionally reinforced operant from a single response to a paced series of responses.…”

“…Estes resultados sugerem que a instrução correspondente facilitou o contato com as contingências programadas e, consequentemente, acelerou a aquisição do comportamento, corroborando os resultados de outras pesquisas da área (e.g., Athayde-Neto et al, 2015;Calixto et al, 2014;Hayes, Brownstein, Haas et al, 1986;Hayes, Brownstein, Zettle, Rosenfarb, & Korn, 1986;Rosenfarb, Newland, Brannon, & Howey, 1992).…”
