Abstract

Residual activity of herbicides applied at pre-emergence in sugarcane and submitted to different soil drought periods Due to concerns related to planning and agricultural practices in sugarcane production, the chemical control of weeds during dry seasons has become a common practice. Even though the weed density is lower during this season it may still cause a significant reduction in cane yield. Therefore, this study aimed at evaluating the efficacy of herbicides applied at pre-emergence when submitted to different drought periods, for the control of the major weed flora commonly found in sugarcane plantations.
