Abstract: A falta regular de atividade física/exercício físico é sem dúvida alguma é um dos fatores determinantes da epidemia global de excesso de peso e obesidade em todas as faixas etárias. O envolvimento na atividade física regular desde as fases iniciais da vida (na criança), durante a adolescência é benéfica para uma vida adulta saudável.
