Educational program for teaching seepage studies (EPTS)

Abstract: Program EPTS is designed and implemented for teaching 2D steady state (isotropic or anisotropic) confined or unconfined seepage studies in soil engineering. The program is written in Visual Basic and utilizes the methods of linear COONS patches for the generation of meshes of the seepage domain and the Galerkin finite element approximation for the derived simultaneous equations.
