The COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has led to a shift from face-to-face to distance learning. The sudden change in the learning format and the unpreparedness of the education system led to learning losses of students. The most researched and documented learning losses are the ones in mathematics, reading, and science. In Ukraine, face-to-face learning has not fully resumed yet, as a full-scale war broke out after 2 years into the pandemic. Consequently, the problem of overcoming learning losses in mathematics is particularly acute, as the country's economy depends on it in the future. According to the research reviewed in this article, the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process helps to overcome learning losses. These technologies can be used to organize synchronous or asynchronous learning. The article examines the effectiveness of students' independent use of GIOS platform materials to overcome learning losses in mathematics. The results of the entrance and exit tests of students, along with a survey of students and their parents after 1.5 months of independent learning on the platform are described. It is concluded that the independent learning format without a teacher or tutor is not suitable for everyone. Nevertheless, one of the components of overcoming learning losses can be students' independent study of multimedia materials. It has been found that the older students are, the more effective this kind of learning is. Based on a survey of students, the characteristics of the GIOS platform that motivated students to learn and helped them to understand the material were identified. Among the characteristics are: the integrity of the course, elements of gamification, the availability of theoretical material in several forms (videos, schemes, examples of solved tasks), the ability to view it several times and return at any time, the availability of training tasks, tasks of different levels and formats (including non-standard ones), the ability to review the covered materials to analyze errors, the ability to improve results by solving similar tasks. It is noted that in order to help their students overcome learning losses, teachers should either develop mathematics materials independently or use ready-made materials.

This paper presents the results of a study on the creation of an information model of the "Department" module of an automated information system in a higher education institution, which makes it possible to ensure the proper quality of the educational process in a higher education institution. The revolution in personal computing and the spread of the Internet have brought the solution to the problem of automating information processes at the departmental level much closer, but it takes a long time to improve and disseminate technologies that would support the digitalisation of the entire educational process of the department, meeting the requirements and needs of all its participants. At present, due to the technological capabilities and a significant increase in the methodological level of building information systems for higher education institutions, the conditions have already been created to meet these needs within the automated information system of higher education institutions. However, there are still a number of problems to be solved, such as the development of an information model of the "Department" module. The article presents an information model of the module "Department", which reflects the information processes that support the educational process, shows the possibilities of using this model in the information environment of a higher education institution. In the presented model, special attention is paid to the problem of data protection, which has become more acute in recent years and is a general educational issue. According to Ukrainian and foreign researchers, the educational sector is one of the first in terms of information threats. It is noted that data protection should be taken into account through RBAC (Role Base Access Control) roles, whose policy is more flexible. In addition, the "Department" module can be implemented as a web application "Operational Management Unit", which will not only attract the attention of users but also help them to quickly and easily find the necessary information and perform the necessary actions. The presented example clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the presented model for the tasks of managing the educational process at the level of a department of a higher education institution.

The current educational environment should be conducive to the students' development, open to innovation, interactive, and stimulating the active participation of all participants in the educational process. However, in this context, it is important to design such an environment that would be developmental not only for students but also for teachers. Therefore, this study aimed to check how the observance of the principles of pedagogical partnership in the educational process affects the development of the teachers' competence. The Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model (2017) and the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) were used to identify the professional competence level. The implementation of the Pedagogy of Partnership program in general secondary education institutions had a positive effect on the development of teachers' methodological professional competence, namely: it increased by 10% among teachers of the English language, by 14% among teachers of the Ukrainian Language and Literature, and Mathematics — by 9%. It was also determined that there is a statistically significant relationship between the teachers' experience and their level of competence: the highest correlation is observed between the level of competence and experience from 5 to 10 years (0.988). The study revealed that teachers working according to the principles of the Pedagogy of Partnership use new forms of interaction and teaching methods, which helps to improve their methodological competence. Future research could focus on analyzing the use of information and communication technologies to support pedagogical partnerships.
