Abstract:Ataman Nikolai Ivanovich Svyatopolk-Mirsky came under harsh criticism, targeted by his contemporaries from the liberal camp, as a persecutor of enlightenment who "has failed to completely abolish science, but not thanks to the lack of enthusiasm."
