Education for children in the formation context of Russian culture

Abstract: The article discusses some details of education for children in Russia in the 18th century. The author examines pedagogical principles of A.T. Bolotov and N.I. Novikov. The worldview goal of writing "Children's Education" as the first book for children in Russia. Clarified practical educational purposes such as «understanding faith» for personal happiness.
