Education and Biography in the Contemporary United States: An Introduction

Abstract

Assays the status of educational biography today and in the recent past and concludes that people should read educational biography for the same reasons they read other kinds of biography-both to understand individual human lives and to appreciate those lives as vehicles with which to understand the larger society in which they were lived.
