Abstract:Objective: Using the FAST (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) Heroes educational programme, this intervention sought to educate residents in a nursing home to recognise and recall the three main stroke symptoms and prepare them to act in an appropriate way, in the event of a stroke emergency.
