EDTA related Pseudothrombocytopenia (PTCP) Incidence and Resolution of Clinically Threatened Artifact

Abstract: Background: EDTA related pseudothrombocytopenia (PTCP) is immune mediated, time and temperature dependent spurious low platelet counts commonly observed in laboratory practices, as an in vitro phenomenon.
