Abstract

SummaryThe purpose of this Special Issue on “Sliding–mode algorithms for state estimation and fault diagnosis” is to present a collection of articles showing novel developments and results in the theory and practice of sliding–mode algorithms for state estimation and fault diagnosis. This collection also includes some advanced and non–standard methods to deal with the fault–tolerant control problem.
