Abstract:Greater trochanteric pain syndrome responds favorably to platelet-rich plasma and surgery as measured by patient-reported outcomes, with a lesser complication rate with injections. Broad and inaccurate terminology makes data synthesis impossible and systematic reviews difficult to interpret.
