Abstract:It is increasingly recognized that a variety of musculoskeletal disorders significantly influence sleep. In individuals with sleep dysfunction caused by hip pain (coxalgia somnia) from osteoarthritis, total hip arthroplasty has reliably improved pain and sleep quality in most patients.
