Abstract

volume was measured three times by suctioning with cystoscopy, which might be affected by the interval between the last void and cystoscopy, and irrigation fluid might also have been included. To further evaluate this hypothesis, additional prospective studies with larger cohorts are necessary to determine the actual timing and strict methodology for examining residual urine volume.
