In this study, we present a real-time free-fps algorithm that utilizes a multi-dimensional vector matrix Walsh transform to address some of the current challenges in real-time video ghost imaging of moving objects. The algorithm allows for adjustable ghost imaging quality and frame rate, which solves the issues of less reconstruction sampling times, non-smooth imaging, and fixed imaging frame rate. To achieve this, a four-dimensional vector Walsh transform kernel matrix is used to transform and reconstruct the high-quality images of the target object, and then reasonable frame rate parameters are set based on the corresponding relationship between the bucket detection values and speckle in the front and back frames, resulting in smooth live video ghost imaging. After simulation and experimental verification of moving objects, our results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm outperforms existing video ghost imaging methods. Specifically, our algorithm solves the DMD refresh rate limitation, resulting in smoother and more stable real-time imaging. Moreover, objective evaluation indexes such as PSNR, the subjective non-reference evaluation standard NRSS structure retention, and Brisque subjective evaluation all show significant improvements of 8%, 7%, and 7%, respectively.

Herein, deep learning‐ghost imaging (DLGI) based on a digital micromirror device is realized to avoid the difficulties of a charge‐coupled device (CCD) scientific camera being unable to obtain the sample images in extremely weak illumination conditions and to solve the problem of the inverse relationship between imaging quality and imaging time in practical applications. Deep learning for computational ghost imaging typically requires the collection of a large set of labeled experimental data to train a neural network. Herein, we demonstrate that a practically usable neural network can be prepared based on the simulation results. The acquisition results of the CCD scientific camera and the simulation results with low sampling are used as the training set (1000 observations) and we can complete the data acquisition process within one hour. The results show that the proposed DLGI method can be used to significantly improve the quality of the reconstructed images when the sampling rate is 60%. This method also reduces the imaging time and the memory usage, while simultaneously improving the imaging quality. The imaging results of the proposed DLGI method have great significance for application in clinical diagnosis.

Because the mine is damp and dark, it is not easy to detect the rigid tank channel’s structural failure directly. Therefore, we judged the tank channel’s surface condition by detecting the magnitude of the vibration displacement of the lifting container. In our study, we used a laser vision system to measure the structural vibration displacement. In order to accurately segment the laser spot information from the vibration image, we proposed an approach that links the relationship between the gray value of the area adjacent to the threshold point and the background’s gray value to the target in the image. We used MCE to evaluate the segmentation effect of threshold segmentation and verified the improved algorithm’s accuracy by detecting the pixel centroid of laser spots. Results show that the improved algorithm in our study has the best threshold segmentation effect, the error classification can be close to 0.0003, and the minimum deviation of the obtained vibration displacement is close to 0.1 pixels, which can realize the accurate extraction of the vibration signal of the vertical shaft tank. The novelty of this method lies in the accurate threshold segmentation and noise reduction processing of the laser speck vibration image under various interference environments in the operation of the mine hoisting system and the accurate acquisition of vibration signals. The research work provides a basis for the accurate evaluation of mechanical faults of automation technology.
