Abstract: Purpose: Consecutive mitral regurgitation after myocardial infarction and secondary ventricular dilatation results in a bad prognosis and high surgical risk due to cardiac comorbidity. Mitral clipping (MitraClip, Abbott Vascular) is a minimal-invasive percutaneous interventional palliative method to reduce mitral regurgitation.
