Ecosystem connectivity and configuration can mediate instability at a distance in metaecosystems

Abstract: Ecosystems are connected by flows of nutrients and organisms. Changes to connectivity and nutrient enrichment may destabilise ecosystem dynamics far from the nutrient source.
