Economic aspects of the resolution of the issue of food security: a case study

Abstract: This paper examines some of the key issues related to ensuring Russia's food security. The focus on meeting people's needs by providing them with food produced domestically predetermines the objective need to develop further the nation's food market and create additional jobs, which should help improve people's standard of living and quality of life.
