Economic Analysis of a Grid Connected PV Systems: A Case Study in Khulna

Abstract: This paper presents a detailed design of an on-grid PV system that meets the electrical needs of a typical domestic building in the southern corner (i.e. Khulna) of Bangladesh. The system comprising of the photovoltaic array to capture solar energy, a power converter to change over between AC and DC, grid connection and lead acid battery to store energy. The modelling is completed by assessing the required load, choosing and deciding the proper specifications of the components associated with the system. Diffe… Show more

“…In one study [39], only half of the systematic review included flow charts to provide insight into the process of study evaluation. The researcher assesses PUPR's 2022 Regulation's Technical Guidelines for renewable energy and explores alternative sources like microhydro and solar PV plants, as shown in Figure 3, and BIM modeling is necessary for cost calculations [40][41][42][43][44][45]. Furthermore, by referring to the research method explained in Figure 2 previously, the modeling simulation of the Blockchain-BIM method is required in this research; this is presented in Figure 4, which aims to prove its effectiveness, utilizing the network configuration that consists of components of contractors, owners, and Blockchain as a smart contract functionality.…”

“…While studying the feasibility, numerous parameters, like cost of energy (COE), net present cost (NPC), etc., are determined. The related expressions for determining COE and NPC are presented in [66] as NPC=TAC/CRFi,Rpro, COE=TACEprim,AC+Eprim,DC,where TAC , CRF , i and Rpro, E prim, AC, and E prim, DC presents the total annualised cost, capital recovery factor, the interest rate and project lifetime, AC primary served load, and DC primary served load, respectively. The COE and NPC of the system vary from one to another, depending on the system size.…”
