“…Tumoral involvement frequently mimics other conditions, a fact that enables many authors to state that the diagnosis of neoplastic cardiomiopathy should be considered challenging in the daily clinical practice 3 . In the present report, the patient presented with non-specific symptoms such as fatigue and dyspnea on mild exertion, which was little suggestive of the presence of an extensive metastasis in RV, a diagnosis that was confirmed only after an echocardiogram was performed and which proved to be a very useful test to detect mobile tumors in heart chambers 6 . In cases of carcinoma of the uterine cervix, the diagnostic confirmation of cardiac metastasis can also be made using Ga-67 or FDG scintigraphy.…”

“…The left atrium may be invaded from the extension of tumour thrombosis of the pulmonary veins. 2D-TTE and 2D-TEE with CT or MRI are valuable in delineating the presence or absence of intracardiac tumour masses [6,50,69]. Nuclear medicine techniques previously employed to detect secondary heart deposits include blood pool imaging and gallium or thallium scintigraphy [70].…”

“…Right ventricular outflow tract obstruction secondary to myocardial metastasis from hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) represents a rare event and portends a poor prognosis [ 1 - 4 ]. The clinical picture is chiefly dominated by severe cardiorespiratory compromise that may lead to cardiac arrest.…”
